SPEAKER PROFILE: Sean Gallagher
Sean is widely recognised as a champion of small and medium sized businesses. He is a former investor on the popular TV series ‘Dragons’ Den’ (Shark Thank in the US) and has founded or co-founded a number of companies in sectors that include commercial real estate, home technology and consulting. He is currently an investor, non-executive director and president in a number of pharma related firms in both Ireland and the US. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Sean worked in Enterprise Development where he developed a passion for coaching and mentoring and has over the past 20 years trained and mentored hundreds of emerging entrepreneurs.
Sean’s new book ‘Secrets to Success – Inspiring Stories from Leading Entrepreneurs’ is based on over five year’s interviewing some of Ireland’s leading entrepreneurs for his weekly column in the Business Section of the Sunday Independent newspaper.
Honest and insightful, it is packed full of great advice and real-life insights, shared by the entrepreneurs themselves about their experience from start-up to success
